Anyone from the public is entitled to search and view the marriage records as mandated by law. However, each state has its own policies implemented in dealing with the official public documents. California marriage records contain marriage license applications and the updated reports on the marriages that ever happened at each county. They are completely made available for the benefit of those who would need them.

A marriage counselor in our area was talked about passionately throughout an entire page of our newspaper recently. The reporter was wound up because this woman counselor said basically: Go ahead – quarrel! Yell at each other! Get angry! Fight! It will strengthen your marriage.

The Freedom of Information Act has made the society more transparent by allowing the public to have access to those published public records. Such initiative has brought benefits in the lives of many. There are those who are against the said Act, but Public Divorce Records users are there to support its existence. It is now mandated by the law that the public must have access to the information and documents managed by the government.
